Central Pacific Railroad Passenger Station
The restored passenger car was put on display in Sacramento in conjunction with a faithful reproduction of a Central Pacific Railroad station that opened in 1976. The station, reconstructed in the style of the 1800s, was one of the first facilities in what is today the California State Railroad Museum. As of 2026 the museum has more than twenty restored locomotives and cars, and more than half a million people visit the museum each year.
